13OCT2025 Xenopus root gene name & symbol was changed from adamtsl5 to adamtsl5b, following review.
The true orthologs of human ADMATSL5, the Xenopus adamtsl5 genes on Chromosome 1/1L, see XB-GENEPAGE-995277, are flanked by plk5 and pcsk4, and share synteny with human, chick and mouse.
