NP_001352655.1 protein BLAST in NCBI identifies this protein as having homology to "spaca4". It is called "bouncer" in zebrafish. A zebrafish researcher identified it and asked the NXR to make a Xtrop mutant of it- NXR has called the mutant line spaca4.

Synteny identifies LOC116406936 as the likely ortholog of SPACA4, sperm acrosome membrane-associated protein 4, but the v9.1 model isn't represented in the v10 assembly.

Also, EggNog5.0 matches the LOC116406936 protein seq to the sperm acrosome membrane-associated protein 4/lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus proteins D/E/F/G6/H homology group in 103 species, so I think we can rename these ly6-g6 genes spaca4/5/6 ....will work on this with gene annotation crew.
