Although the LOC780073 protein accessions [1] do match the WDR55 homology group according to EggNogg5.0.
Syteny also predicts that the Xtrop model LOC100490380 and the X. laevis model LOC100490380.L are the true WDR55 orthologs, and NCBI also asserts LOC100490380/.L as the true orthologs.
THe gene name and symbol are therefore updated to wdr55l.
